Mindfulness is the simple but powerful practice of bringing awareness to the present moment. Despite its simple nature it can feel difficult to put into practice. Our lives today can feel busy and stressful. We often get caught up in worries about the future or in mentally replaying events from the past. These unhelpful ways of thinking are hard to escape from, often having a negative impact on our lives. Being chronically caught up in thinking can also mean we miss out on the small joys of everyday life.
