With over a decade of experience, Emilly is a qualified Clinical Psychologist dedicated to helping women navigate a wide range of emotional challenges. She has a particular interest in helping women struggling with perimenopause and menopause. Observing the positive impact of accurate understanding, recognition, and support has inspired her to incorporate an awareness of hormonal influences on mental health into her practice. This passion also led her to co-found Tay Wellbeing, creating a space dedicated to holistic care for women.
Emilly has recently been trained in the EMBERS® Menopause-Informed CBT framework at Menopause CBT Clinic®, offering a unique approach to supporting women through the menopause transition.
Whether coping with loss, life transitions, or the effects of trauma, Emilly provides compassionate, evidence-based therapy. Emilly's approach integrates various evidence-based psychological therapies, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). Emilly is a UK and Europe EMDR accredited practitioner. She employs these techniques collaboratively and exploratively to help women navigate challenges and enhance their wellbeing.
Emilly's primary goal in therapy is to create a safe, non-judgemental space where you can set goals and discover the skills and strategies you need to thrive.
Emilly offers face-to-face therapy for adults in Dundee and Aberdeen, as well as online sessions.
