Ali works from our Dundee clinics and online, offering psychological therapies for adults aged 18 years and above. Following a neuro-affirming, collaborative approach, Ali provides a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore the difficulties you have been experiencing, and together, develop a way forward, focusing on what is important to you. With over 10 years experience, both in the NHS (experience working with mild to complex and enduring difficulties) private practice and third sector services, Ali has worked with people who experience a range of psychological difficulties. Within her practice, Ali has developed a particular interest in supporting women, primarily working to support women going through perimenopause / menopause. Ali has gained additional training including CBT for Menopause and utilises an integrative approach (primarily CBT and EMDR) in order to enhance and support your journey through this stage of life.
As a psychologist trained in the EMBERS® Menopause-Informed CBT framework with Menopause CBT Clinic®, Ali brings a specialised approach to supporting women during the menopause transitions. Menopause-Informed psychological care is tailored specifically to address the complex interplay of physical, emotional, and psychological changes that occur during menopause.
This specialised approach allows Ali to provide targeted interventions that help manage symptoms like anxiety, mood swings, and emotional distress more effectively. By focusing on the unique challenges of menopause, this approach not only alleviates immediate concerns but also empowers women to regain control, confidence, and a renewed sense of well-being.
